Globalization has both advantages and
disadvantages.
Discuss both and give your opinion.
Trading, community and communication have always been an important part of conscious human beings. History has been showing all the changes in the society. After the mighty world wars and further some more years of cold wars, the globe got open to trade and flourish together. Thus, the terminology of globalization was defined.
On one hand world got closer, various investments were been made in between countries, states, private areas, etc. Societies started to shape likewise, in many continents, thoughts and ideas started to flow once there were investments done directly as well as indirectly. The stock market took bullish path after various exchanges between multinational companies. Investors started to pour their money and valuables in the stocks. Although the banking and technology started being aggressive in their trades, one cannot deny the exposure given to many talents which allowed them to get out of their constraints to perform better and rise above the odds.
On the other hand Cultural bonds, regional acts and beliefs started to dwindle. Over exposure of various foreign cultures diluted some of the most fascinating way of life in countryside, to further add on, their adorable work was lost in the way to industrial automation. Humans begun excessive exploitation of nature to gain good businesses, it also propelled the competition and greed. Some believe this has also increased debt everywhere, as we are often quoted as "part of debt ridden society".
To conclude, globalization has helped localities in growing their wealth but this is happening over some price. The rift between the developed, developing and developed countries has increased. In my opinion, by foreign investment, one country should help the other to prosper and avoid to exploit labour at low cost. Global investments should be supported with good values and collaborations.
