Measurement of success

Success is often measured by wealth and material belongings. Do you think wealth is the best measure of success?

What makes a successful person?

It is a huge blunder to consider the rich as successful. If an individual governs some area doesn't mean that they are mighty. The posh are always branded as successful even if the majority of their possessions have been inherited.

Successful are the ones who have taken a long leap in any area, in ethical way. To provide an insight, it could be a rookie in an engineering world, who later would file a patent in his or her area after gaining in-depth expertise in research after some years. Another individual could be a physically obese and unfit person, able to run a marathon after immense weight reduction, hardcore workout and some years of disciplined practice. I feel such individuals are deserving to be considered for their achievements. Although there is no certain measure for term success but the measurement must be the journey of the performance at start to the pinnacle in a constrained duration of time. Wealth can be considered as one of the aspects of success but surely it is not the only factor.

Many feel that, to have the best outlook towards life is vital, furthermore some of the factors like perseverance, stress handling capacity and result oriented approach are some of the pivotal qualities of the top gainers. I believe a successful person has one of the greatest capacity to make a comeback even after
hitting the rock bottom in life.

To conclude, materialistic success doesn't portray someone as successful. The never back down lifestyle, as well as an overall ride of wins incurred after defeating many concerning hardships matter in the end.
